BENTONVILLE--Patrick Edwin "Eddie" Carpenter, 55, of Bentonville died May 5, 2000, at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville.
He was born Oct. 10, 1944 in Mount Sterling, Ill. to Elza and Darlene Roberts Carpenter.
He was a resident of this area for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife Charlotte Grobe Carpenter of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron Carpenter and Deb of Lewiston, Ill.; three stepsons and a stepdaughter-in-law, James Landers and Crystal and Tommy Landers, all of Springdale, and Donald Landers of Bentonville; one stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Cathy Radford and Rodney of Springdale; three brothers, Gene Carpenter, Jess Carpenter and Bill Carpenter; four sisters, Margaret Carpenter, Elizabeth Batey, Pat Daigh and Joyce Utter; one grandchild; five step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bentonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
