W.A. SEABORN DIES AT HOME NEAR VAUGHN

William A. Seaborn died at his home three miles south of Vaughn Friday, July 13, 1934 at the age of 80 years. He suffered a stroke of paralysis June 28, and had been helpless since.

Funeral services by Rev. F.A. Bradshaw were held at the Vaughn Presbyterian Church last Sunday afternoon. Burial was made in the Rogers Cemetery.

Mr. Seaborn was born Feb. 28, 1854 in Pike County, Ills., and was the son of Robert and Nancy Seaborn. On March 30th, 1878, he was married Mary E. Razey. To this union were born five children, Mrs. Daisy Dickson, Perry, Ills., Mrs. Maude Brierton, Stuttgart, Ark., Mrs. Bertha Sargent, Pittsfield, Ills., W.R. Seaborn and Fred Seaborn of Coffeyville, Kansas.

In 1898, Mr. Seaborn and his family moved from Illinois to McRae, Ark. On April 12 of the following years, Mrs. Seaborn passed away and shortly afterwards the family moved to Cleburne County, Arkansas. In 1890 he married Miss Ola C. Norton, who with five of their children survive him. Glenn and Mrs. Orpha Gray of Osawatomie, Kans., Grieve of Perry, Ills., Albert of Ontario, Calif., and Claude Seaborn of Paola, Kans.

A few years later, Mrs. Seaborn moved to a farm south of Vaughn, which has since been the family home.
