PALM HARBOR, Fla. — BRIAN PATRICK ALLEN, 28, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died Tuesday, Feb. 4, in Palm Harbor.
Born in Denton, Texas, he grew up in Jonesboro and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked in construction and was a 1993 graduate of Jonesboro High School. He was a Boys State Delegate in 1992 and attended Arkansas State University.
Survivors include one son, Kayde Dorton of Jonesboro; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Jimmy Casey of Jonesboro; his father and stepmother, Ted and Sue Allen of Contoocook, N.H.; one brother, Scott Allen of Jonesboro; one stepbrother, Brian Casey of Little Rock; two half brothers, Ted Allen Jr. of Manchester, N.H., and D.V. Allen of Tampa, Fla.; one stepsister, Jennifer Stanage of Whitehall; one half sister, Dana Naghtin of Tampa; his maternal grandmother, Helen Flemon of Jonesboro; and his paternal grandparents, Dianne Allen of Tampa, Fla., and Ray and Mary Casey of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ferrel Flemon.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jack Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery at Jonesboro.
Pallbearers will be Eric Burch, Robert Packard, Kevin Richardson, Adam Edmonds, Allen Flemon and Mickey Stafford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Thompson, Hardy Little, Bill Langston, Greg Stemac, Johnny Ward, Jim Maddox, Richard Wayne Jernigan, Paul Stemac, Zack Stanage and Dennis Calaway.
Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. today at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. Rosary will be said at 5 p.m.
