Elmina Malinda Tennessee (Huggins) Pruitt was the second (2) wife of David Elisha Pruitt. She was born in Izard County, Arkansas.
Elmina was my great grandmother, the mother of my grandmother, Malinda Jane Pruitt Sanders Taylor. Elmina's name was Elmina Malinda Tennessee Huggins Pruitt. The Matilda Name is not correct**. It is Malinda, like my grandmothers. She was called "Tennessee". Two middle names aren't very common, yet, my grandma Malinda Jane "Janie" Sanders Taylor named her daughter Elva Lolina Julie Tennessee Sanders. Julie and Tennessee were Elva Lolina "Lola"'s, after her paternal and maternal grandmothers.
