In the 1860 Census of Marion County, Arkansas, Polly Ann Pierson was in the household of George & Nancy Pierson. There were 8 children in the household ranging in age from 10 to 2 plus two other adults. The way the children were enumerated, it does not appear that all of the children were siblings. The first four were listed in order of descending ages from 7 to 2, and then what appeared to be a second group started with descending ages from 10 to 2. Polly Ann was in the second group and she was bracketed with Mary Ann and a notation "Twins." The twins were 6 years old.
On the tablet marker, Polly Pierson is the seventh name on the Pre-Civil War listing of burials in the Wolf Cemetery. It shows that her grave is unmarked.
