BELLA VISTA — Betty June Kemp, 70, of Bella Vista died May 29, 2002, at her home. She was born Aug. 2, 1931, in Port, Okla., to Willis and Maude Latham. She lived most of her life in southern California before moving to Bella Vista in 1989, after selling a chain of video stores. She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Gravette.
Survivors include one daughter, Claudette J. Middlebrooks and husband Jack of Bella Vista; one son, Robert L. Matney and wife Barbara of Gravette; one sister, Barbara Booher of Bella Vista; one brother, Don Latham of Soledad Canyon, Calif.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at 10 a.m. today at Bella Vista Cemetery with John Powell officiating. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association (Emphysema) of Arkansas, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, 72205-9869 or Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72764.
