Obituary
Thomas Walter Day, Retired Minister, Dies at Hospital.
The Rev. Thomas Walter Day, 71, retired Baptist Minister of Conway, died today at Memorial Hospital following a stroke.
He was born December 26, 1886 at Spring Hill, a son of the late John and Margaret Leith(Leath) Day, and lived all his life in AR. The Rev. and Mrs. Day moved to Conway in 1950.
Survivors include a son, Alfred Owen Day of Little Rock Air Force Base, two daughters Miss Margaret Day of Conway and Miss Vida Day of Little Rock, and a grand-daughter, Miss Kemberly Jane Day of Guy.
Funeral services are to be conducted at 3 p.m. tomorrow at McNutt Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. H. Street and the Rev. E. F. Simmons officiating. Burial will be at Macedonia cemetery by McNutt Funeral Home.
Pallbearers, all nephews of Mr. Day, are to include Charles Day, James Atkinson, and Willie, Elmer, Oren, and Hazel Hallum
