James Doyle "J.D." Stafford the son of Clyde and Rose Bud (Doughton) Stafford. Betty Ann (Boyd) Stafford the daughter of Buford Boyd and Alice Lorrene (Walker) Boyd.

WALNUT RIDGE -- James Doyle Stafford, 62, of Walnut Ridge died Sunday at St. Bernard's Hospital.

He had lived in Walnut Ridge most of his life and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Rose Bud Stafford, and one brother, Al Stafford.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Boyd Stafford of the home; four daughters, Tim Weaver, Tracy Speirs, Tina Stafford and Tara Stafford; one son, James Stafford; three sisters, Treva Surrency, Clyda Stafford and Rose Stafford; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is 5:30-8 tonight at House-Gregg Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at House-Gregg Chapel with James Sauls officiating. Burial will be at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.

Betty Ann Boyd Stafford, 66 of Walnut Ridge, died Wednesday December 27, 2017 at her residence.

She was born April 24, 1951 in Walnut Ridge to Buford Boyd & Alice Lorrene Walker Boyd.

She was a lifetime resident of Lawrence County, a homemaker, and a member of Peoples Faith Tabernacle in Hoxie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.D. Stafford; sisters, Pat Tribble, Helen Halcum, Ruthie Boyd, Lisa Woodard, and Sherry McLaughlin; brothers, Bobby Boyd and Donnie Boyd

She is survived by daughters, Tim Weaver (Chris) of Jonesboro, Tracy Speirs (Shawn) of Jonesboro, Tina Stafford and Roger Douglas of Walnut Ridge, and Tara Stafford (Brian) of Walnut Ridge; son, James Stafford of Walnut Ridge; special niece, Leslie Woodard of Walnut Ridge; sisters, Margie Bell, Kay Hutton, Becky Gray, and Norie Tribble; brother, Steve Boyd; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday December 29, 2017 from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the House-Gregg Funeral Chapel in Walnut Ridge.

Funeral services were held Saturday December 30, 2017 at 10:00AM at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Roger Brand officiating.

Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Cemetery under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge, & Lynn, AR.
