BELLA VISTA — Mary Peggy Bunce, 86, of Bella Vista died March 30, 2002, at Concordia Care Center in Bella Vista. She was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Chanute, Kan., to Elmer and Blanche Butterfield Walker. She moved to Bella Vista three years ago from Tulsa, Okla. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Bella Vista, the PEO, and was past president and member of the Landettes. She was active in the Girl Scouts. She was also a member of the New Haven Methodist Church, president of the Sunday school class and played piano and was president of the Senior Citizens group for two years at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Bunce of Bella Vista, to whom she was married 67 years; one daughter, Barbara Fox and husband Paul of Bella Vista; two grandchildren, Victoria Fox of Dallas, Texas, and Paul Fox Jr. of Austin, Texas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. James E. Still officiating.

Burial will be in Bella Vista Cemetery under the direction of Bela Vista Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3405 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista, 72714.
