Janey Mae Kindle, 54, of Morrilton, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007.
She was born Nov. 17, 1952, in Meni-fee, a daughter of Lorine Oliver Smith and George Smith. She was a member of St. Matthew No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of East Side High School and Ouachita Job Corp. Conservation Center in Hot Springs. She was employed with Levi Strauss Co. for 28 years and with Friendship Community Services.
Survivors include her husband, Otis Lee Kindle; five children, Roderick, LaNashka, Karma, Leotis and Angelo; six sisters, Lavon Canady, Dorothy Smith and Ora Smith, all of Menifee, and Wilma Mason, Eleen McGraw and Melissa Smith, all of Conway; two brothers, Lee Earnest Smith and Teddy Smith, both of Menifee; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church by Dr. Henry L. Harris. Burial was at Menifee Community Cemetery by Wilson and Jarrett Funeral Home Inc.
Pallbearers were William Canady Jr., Calvin Delph, Purcell Higgins, Henry Mason Jr., Bobby Day, Jerome Green, Maurice Jones and Jesse McGraw. Honorary pallbearers were members of the East Side High School Class of 1970.
