TARZANA, Calif. — Ada Florence Pitts, 82, of Tarzana died Sept. 13, 2007, at Tarzana Medical Center. She was born March 13, 1925, at Lowell to Ted Carson and Iolene Beatrice Ford Carson. She moved to California in 1956 from Garfield. She attended the Church of Christ and worked at May Co. and Van De Kamp bakeries before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed making pottery, sewing, gardening and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Pitts.
Survivors include two sons, David M. Pitts Jr. and wife Susan of Castaic, Calif., Jeff Pitts and Lupe of Woodland Hills, Calif.; two daughters, Sue Koger and husband Jerry of Chatsworth, Calif., Karen McDaniel of Reseda, Calif.; three sisters, Dorothy Penny of Springdale, Betty Barnett of Tahlequah, Okla., and Bonnie Harper of Kansas; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, online at siscofuneralhome.net. Jack Garner will officiate.
Burial will be in Buttram Cemetery.
