May 12, 1913 - January 22, 1968
Miss Mildred Gwendolyn Tillman, 54, of George West, Tex., formerly of Huttig, died in a Shreveport hospital Monday afternoon. Born May 12, 1913, at Genessee, La., she was the daughter of Arch A. and Della Williams Tillman. She was the manager of Elliott and Waldron Abstracts Co. of George West, Tex., and was a Presbyterian. Survivors include her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Tillman of Huttig; and a sister, Mrs. James A. Maroney of Strong. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Young's Chapel with Dr. M. L. Baker of Waskom, Tex. officiating. Interment will follow in Strong Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Hendricks, C. L. Gaskin, Robert Deshazo, Ellis Prince, Joe Maroney and John Wayne Glaze. (El Dorado Times - January 23, 1968)
