Miss RaSheta LaShawn Hill was born November 12, 1986 to Tena Cressel Hill and John Edd Hill in Texarkana, Texas. Miss Hill lived in Wilton,Arkansas with her parents, grandmother, family members, and friends until April 10, 1992 when God chose to call her home.
LaShawn, attended Bethleham Baptist Church where she was very active. She sang in the junior choir where she was a soloist. Shawn was very active in the community. She attended Ashdown Headstart. She was a member of YWCA, where she played T-Ball. She was a member of Lana's School of Dance where she learned Tap and Ballet. LaShawn was such a wonderful, friendly, and loving person. We were blessed to have her, if only for a short time. We all loved her but God love her best. Now she has gone to live, sing, and praise him above.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Tena and John Hill, her sister Keisha Cressel, her maternal grandmother, Mrs Nettie Cressel, her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Pearlie Mae Hill, her paternal great-grandmother, Mrs Lurene Talley, eight aunts, six uncles, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
LaShawn died of injuries sustained in car/train accident. Sadly, she and her mother Tena were on their way to another funeral when the accident occured. Tena died four years later of her injuries.
Services were held Saturday April 18, 1992, 11:00 at Bethleham Baptist Church in Wilton, Arkansas.
Rest in Peace, Lil Cuz, YOU ARE TRULY MISSED!
