Born in Wilton, LIttle RIver County, Arkansas and Died in Ashdown, Little River County, Arkansas
Dorothy Jean Brown, called "Dot-Jean", to family and friends; the older daughter of the late Joseph and Pearlie Mae Hill, was born March 30, 1947 in Little River County, Wilton, Arkansas.
She departed this life on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at her home in Ashdown, AR.
Her lifetime residing in Ashdown, Dorothy at an early age, attended the East Main Street Church of God in Christ. In 2000, she united with Craig Chapel A.M.E. Church and in 2003, she united with the Tabernacle of Praise Church of God in Christ.
She was united in marriage to Andrew Brown, Jr. on September 13, 1966. To this union, six children were born.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory:
Six sons-Kenneth(Nikki)M. Hill, Keith L. Brown, Patrick T. Brown, Andrew Brown III, Eric(Tonya)Brown, and Glenn D. Brown.
Four sisters-Elaine(Verlon)Owen, Loraine(Russell)Latson, Andrea Brown, and Susan(John)Davis.
Two brothers-Joe(Shirley)E. Hill and John E. Hill
A Special Uncle-Charles Northcross, SR
Twenty grandchildren adn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services were held Saturday, March 19, 2005, 11:00 at Community Freewill Missionary Baptist Church in Ashdown,AR.
Rest in Peace, Dot Jean, you will be truly missed!
