July 28, 1910 - June 19, 1960
Cecil Clark Ward, 49, a farmer of the Steel Hopewell community, near Bee Branch, died yesterday following a heart attack. Mr. Ward was born July 28, 1910, in Van Buren County, a son of the late J.H. and Sarah Cossey Ward, and he spent his entire lifetime in Arkansas.
He married the former Mildred Ford on Nov. 6, 1930. She survives.
Mr. Ward was a Methodist. Survivors besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Elvin Johnson of Sterling, Ill; two sons, Jimmy Ward of Bee Branch and Burl Ward of the Army in Germany; two brothers, Monroe Ward, of Bee branch and Jeff Ward, of North Little Rock, and two sisters, Birdie Ward of Bee Branch and Mrs. Hayden Mahan of Mars Hill (Marshall?). Funeral will be announced by McNutt Funeral Home.
