1897 - 1917
Mrs.Minnie Alexander, age 25 years, wife of M.O.Alexander died Wedneday morning eight miles east of Forrest City, in Johnson township. Funeral services were held at the Good Hope church, services conducted by Rev.Champion, and burial was had at the Hughes graveyard. Deceased was a member of the Methodist church, having professed faith in Christ at an early age. She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs.M.C.Porter; two brothers and one hafl brother, Messrs.Richard and Will Porter, and Stephan Evans; and by two sisters, Misses Nina and Mable Porter, and by a twenty month old baby, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their irreparable loss.
