Graveside services for Carlos Cagle, 65, of Fayetteville were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Belt Cemetery, near Ozark, under the direction of Moor's Chapel of Fayetteville. He died Monday, Sept. 29, 1997, at Washington Regional Medical Cemter in Fayetteville, born April 29, 1932, at Ozark, (Low Gap) he was the son of Marion and Sadie Nickels (Nichols) Cagle. He was a former employee of Scott Equipment Company, a Baptist and a member of the Clear Creek Coon Hunters Association. Survivors include his wife Doris Faye; four sons, Jackie, Johnny and Ricky, all of Fayetteville, and Ray of Lincoln; two daughters, Lisa Kay Purdy of Macon, Ga., and Tresa Faye Rowe of Prairie Grove; two brothers, Elgar Cagle of Exeter, Mo., and Bobby Cagle (Nephew) of Clarksville; six sisters, Orthey Brasher of Poteau, Okla.; Dorothy Pigg of Locust Grove, Okla.; Marie Dickerson of Charleston, Jessie Dickerson of Ratliff, Ella Mae Cagle of Ozark and Neoma Marlow of Clarksville; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
