Clellan Otto Jackson, age 88 of Concord died Monday, May 24, 2010 at his home. He was born April 15, 1922 at Banner, Arkansas to Otto Ralph and Clara Mae Light Jackson. He was a farmer, a hard worker and enjoyed his family. He was of the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gertrude Lewis Jackson, one sister, Delphia Inez Jackson and a great grandson, Bradley Jonathan Kealer.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Padgett White Jackson of the home, two sons, Clellan Leon Jackson of Beebe, Lynnord Keith Jackson of Batesville, two sisters, Bernice Jackson Grant and Dula Jackson Turner of East Hartford, Connecticut, five grandchildren, Sandy Lynn Jackson Bridgman of Floral, Clellan Keith Jackson of Banner, Joshua Welch Jackson, Jillien Rhea Jackson of Beebe and Jolie Elizabeth Jackson of Beebe, four great grandchildren, Justin Wilkerson and Joey Wilkerson of Floral, Ericka Jackson and Kyle Jackson of Banner, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will begin Friday, May 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the General Baptist Church in Concord with Bro. Jim Dillard officiating.. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located at Banner with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
