Services for Alice I. Misic of Mt. Home will be at 2PM Friday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerrel Venable officiating. Mrs. Misic died Tuesday (Jan 12, 1999) at her residence. She was 87.
Mrs. Misic was born Feb 25, 1911, at Beloit, KS, a daughter of Charles W. and Ethel Leslie Cooke. She married Joseph J. Misic Dec 12, 1942, at Takoma, WA. Formerly of Kansas City, KS, she had lived at Mt. Home for 56 years and was a office clerk for the State of Arkansas Revenue Department. She was a member of Emmanuel Church.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Misic of the home; one sister, Ava Swan of Lubbock, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from noon to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends fro 6 to 8PM. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Buford, Pallbearers include Blake McGuire, Leonard Kellem, Larry Colburn, Russell Miller, Mort Demster and Max Tinkey.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or Emmanuel Church.
