Mrs. Cornelia Pearl Lovelady, aged 70, of Route 2 Mt. Home, died Monday at the Baxter General Hospital. Funeral services were held at 10AM Wednesday in the Fairview Methodist Church with Bro. A.B. Reese officiating. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Roller-McClure Funeral Service.
Mrs. Lovelady, a resident of the Buford community, was born at Mt. Home on August 21, 1893, and was a lifetime resident of Baxter County. She was the daughter of the late John Jordan and Mollie Bettis Jordan. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Lovelady, of the home; four sons, Harold of Macon, GA, Willard of Stockton, CA, Pleas of Mt. Home and Charlie Lynn of Van Buren; two daughters, Mrs. Linton Brown of North Little Rock and Mrs. Cleo White of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Pitchford and Mrs. Vin Hopper, both of Mt. Home; a brother, Roy Jordan of Peoria, IL.
Pallbearers were Clyde Lance, H.H. Burrow, Walter George, Joe Stancil, Lloyd Stancil and Albert Head.
