Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Fairview Church at Buford for Miss Lougilla Simpson Eubank, age 71, who died at a Kansas City, MO, nursing home on Friday. Rev. James Birkhead officiated.
Miss Eubank, a retired nurse, was born at Buford on February 22, 1887 and spent the early years of her life in Baxter County. She later lived in Toledo, Ohio and Los Angeles CA, before moving to Kansas City.
Miss Eubank, am member of the Baptist Church, was the daughter of the late George Eubank and Mary Nelson Eubank
Survivors include a brother. L.N. (Newt) Eubank and a nephew, Ralph Eubank of Buford; and several other nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers were Joe Mace, Homer Horn, Leo Pitchford, Ed Pinkston, Kenneth Tammell and Neil Nelson. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery with the Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
