Anson M. Aikman
1903(should be 1902) - 1963
Please note that the headstone year of birth for Anson is WRONG. It is proven that Anson was born in 1902 and not 1903. Additionally, please see the military marker for him (Captain Quartermaster Corps, WWII). Anson Marcellous Aikman was born Nov 11, 1902 in Bluffton and died May 24, 1963. He was the son of James Edward & Sallie Ann (Gibbs) Aikman. His siblings were William Forrest, Allie, Jim T., Tracy Thelma and Herman Hoyle Aikman. Anson married Willie Mae Roland and they had a son, Thomas Rowland "Rex" Aikman. He next married Jessie E. Bamford and they had son Anson Robert Aikman.
