*Obituary

Mrs. Nancy Sarepta (Repta) Smith, 85, of Route 2, Mt. Home, the widow of William Arthur Smith, died Monday at Baxter Manor Nursing Home. She was a long time resident of the Shady Grove community, and a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Services are scheduled for 2PM Sunday at the Roller Chapel. Elder Remil N. Layton of the
Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Mt. Home will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Buford, under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Leo Pitchford, James H. Baker, Guy Jones, J.W. Myers, Ralph Harris and Carrel Caststeel.
Mrs. Smith, the daughter of the late David Nelson Carey and Christena Pitchford Carey, was born in Webster County, MO, Oct 24, 1891. She lived in Baxter County most of her life and was married here Nov 26, 1916.
Survivors include four sons, Paul and Leon of Wichita, KS, Truman of Route 2, Mt. Home, and Earnest of Kansas City, MO; three daughters, Mrs. Zella Peace and Mrs. Stella Jackson, both of Route 2, Mt. Home, and Mrs Blanch Dutton of Wichita; three sisters, Mrs. Rachael Dell, Mrs. Rebecca Wickersham and Mrs. Minnie Duke, all of Newark; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
