Funeral services for Joe Sinor, 70, pioneer resident of Cartney, who died Sunday, were held Tuesday at Fairview Methodist Church with the Rev. Claude Crigler officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with the Yellville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sinor was born January 27, 1880. He was married to Martha Smith, June 15, 1909. He was a member of the Baptist Church for many years and served as a deacon and prayer chairman. He was a charter member of the Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lea Grass of White Pigeon, MI, Mrs. Lottie Hurst of Buford; and son, Arthur Sinor of North Little Rock; a brother, Randolph Sinor of Buford; and a granddaughter, Miss Bonnie Sinor of Buford.
