Funeral services were conducted in the late afternoon at Fairview Cemetery Monday by the Rev. Claude Crigler for Mrs. Mae Rason who died in a Batesville hospital early Sunday morning.
She was born in Buffalo, February 17, 1909. She was married to Otto Rason in March 1930. To this union were born two children, Virginia Leah, eight and Harold Dean, 2.
Surviving her are her husband, Otto Rasor, three children, Virginia Leah, Harold Dean and Ernest Flanagan by a former marriage; her father, Elbert Caststeel of Mt. Home, a brother Hubert of Cartney, a sister Wilma Brainerd of Gassville, her grandparents, Mrs. Laura Caststeel and Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Sinor, besides numerous other relatives.
Mae, as she was known to a host of friends, was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all. Her passing will bring sorrow to all who were so fortunate as to know her.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Adams Funeral Home of Cotter.
Pall bearers were, Ron Mecer, Charles Pitchford, D. Jackson, Ernest Caststeel, Mr. Heydt and Mr. Barnes.
