Joseph Edward Price, 77, of Mt. Home passed away Monday, Sep 2, 2002, at his home.
He was born March 28, 1925, at Chicago to Joseph Edward, Sr. and Josephine Price. He married Adeline Preban on June 22, 1946, at Chicago. He was founder of and worked for 27 years for Ozark Fabricators. Joe was a World War II US Navy veteran. He lived in Mt. Home since 1971, moving from Tinley Park, IL. He was a member of VFW, Elks, Moose and Twin Lakes Golf Association.
He is survived by his wife, Adeline Price of the home; sons, Joseph Edward (Linda) Price III of Atlanta and Glen (Linda) Price of Mt. Home; daughters Susan (Chip) Bailey and Nancy (Jackie) Britt, all of Mt. Home; brother, Thomas Price of Farmington, MI; sisters, Patricia Becker of Hot Springs and Bee Pawlik of Westmont, IL; brother-in-law, Donald Preban of Cary, IL; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margarite Poorman.
A memorial service will be 2PM Saturday at Fairview United Methodist Church at Buford with the Rev. Ray Frances officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 1595 CR 635, Mt. Home, AR, 72653 or American Cancer Society, 300 Oak Ridge Rd., Mt. Home, AR 72653.
Arrangements are by Baxter County Funeral Home and Cremation Society.
