Lowell Peace, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Peace was found near the house Thursday morning in a very serious condition from a shot. He was carried to the house and live about two hours and a half after they found him. It was thought to be an accident. Lowell was a good Christian boy and loved by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his loss ins parent, two sisters, Mrs. Grace Shaw of Kansas, Mrs. George Thompson of this place and three brothers, Alfred and Vernon of Kansas and Noel of this place who were all present for the funeral. The funeral services were held at Shady Grove school house after which the remains were laid away in the Fairview Cemetery. the services were conducted by Eld. J.M. Marler. Beside his relatives he leaves a hos of friends.

Concerning the death of Lowell Peace, the first report was suicide, but further investigation and examination of the wound by Mr. McClure, proved that death was caused by accident. The gun was undoubtedly discharged while Lowell was climbing over a fence.
