LOWELL - Annis Mae Fields, 82, of Lowell died May 8, 1998, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Johnson to Aaron and Lula Bohannan Howard. She was a homemaker and was employed by Tyson hatchery for 27 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dee Fields, on Jan. 30, 1991; four brothers; six sisters.

Survivors include one son, Sonny Fields of Springdale; three daughters, Barbara Martin of Riverside, Calif., Beverly King of Lowell and Norma Hartin of Rogers; one brother, Dayne Howard of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale with the Rev. Stanton Cram and the Rev. Jack Anglin officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Chavez, Edward McGinnis, Eddie Gene Fields, Chris Hartin, Scott Fields and Scott Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Dayne Howard, Gene Fields, O.C. Autry, Orvil Fields, Roland Kendrick and Johnny Autry.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
