Mr. James Walter Moore, 62 year-old resident of Rt. 4, Springdale, Arkansas died Monday, August 7 at the Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born August 31, 1915 at Johnson, Arkansas and had been a lifetime resident of the area. Mr. Moore was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mae of the home; 2 sons; Lewis of Texarkana, Texas and Arlis of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; 3 stepsons, Lenard Starnes of Helena, Montana; Raymond Starnes and Ray Kenneth Starnes, both of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Wanda England of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Mrs. Maudie Gabbard of Vacaville, California; 1 sister, Mrs. Susie Guiszler of Lodi, California; 17 Grandchildren and a number of Great-Grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Moore were held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 9 at the White Oak Church. Burial was in the White Oak Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Wasson Funeral Home.
