Mrs. Drucilla Murphy, 79, wife of J.U. Murphy of the Flippin community, passed away at the family home early Wednesday morning of this week.
She is survived by her husband and nine children, namely, Roy Murphy of Lincoln, NE; Cloda and Dewey of Flippin; Coy of Crocker, AR; Paul of Browning, IL; Nona Stawarz of Kansas City; Uno Johnson of Omaha, NE; Bessie Ramsey of Jackson MS; Pat Murphy of Whittier, CA; and Orpha Ellis of CA; also by one brother, Jim Robertson of Mt. Home and one sister, Effie Million of Fountain, CA.
At the time of going to press funeral arrangements are incomplete, but burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery near Buford.
(Note; It cannot be determined for certain if Drucilla's maiden name was Robinson or Robertson. It appears that her father was David and her mother Eliza Harwood. But even within the siblings of the same family the names Robertson and Robinson are both used. In various documents David is listed as both Robertson and Robinson. On the marriage certificate for James and Drucilla she uses the name Robinson.)
