Funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia Frances London, 86, who died Friday at home in Shady Grove Community, were held Sunday afternoon at the Fairview Church, with Rev. Joe Keener officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with the Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. London, one of the early pioneers of Baxter County, was born in Tennessee on August 8, 1867. She moved her with her parents in that year. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and a charter member of the Shady Grove Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Peace of Mt. Home and Mrs. Ernie Statler of Tulsa; a sister Mrs. R.C. McKinley of Monroe, LA, four sons, Don of Shady Grove, Roy of Arrogrand, CA, Dow and Ray London of Tulsa, OK, 12 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
