Funeral services were conducted at Fairview Cemetery by the Rev. A.M. Jones for Mrs. Julia Savage Jones who died at her home near Mt. Home May 6.
She was born in 1881 near Corinth, MS and was married to J.M. Jones in 1884. She has been a member of the Methodist Church since early childhood. Surviving her are her husband, two sons, Charley of the home, Don of Idaho and one daughter Lela of Oklahoma and twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
"Aunt Julia" as she was known to a host of friends, was a devoted wife and mother and a loveable character. Her passing will bring sorrow to all who where so fortunate as to know her.
The Adams Funeral Home of Cotter had charge of the funeral.
