March 10, 1894 - October 8, 1974
Mrs. Golda Jane Mericle, 80, Decatur, died Oct. 8 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born March 10, 1894 in Bentonville, she was the daughter of A. Womack and Viola Wilkins Womack, and a member of Decatur United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Mericle, Redondo Beach, Calif., and Davey Mericle, Paramount, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Noel Guthrie, Paramount, Calif., Mrs. Herb Kinsey, Decatur, and Mrs. Robert Henry, Siloam Springs; one brother, Edwin Womack, Hollis, Okla.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Decatur United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
