DECATUR — D.K. Bredehoeft, 80, died July 9, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville. He was born Dec. 10, 1925, in Decatur to Donald Stuart and Nellie Belle Morgan Bredehoeft. He attended Decatur schools. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was owner/operator of Bredehoeft Produce and was a pilot for Peterson Industries and Southwest Energy. He was a member of the NRA, the Confederate Air Force and the Single Action Shooting Society and was an avid ham radio operator. He served on the Benton County Board of Selective Services for several years and was a former Decatur volunteer fireman and volunteered at the Arkansas Air Museum at Drake Field. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. He was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Box Bredehoeft, in 2005, and one grandson, David Marquess.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Rush and husband Bob of Decatur, Judy Marquess and husband Steve of Bentonville; three grandchildren, Caroline Kruger Rush of Siloam Springs, Rachel Rush of Rogers and Stephanie Marquess of Bentonville; two great-grandchildren, Chase Kruger of Siloam Springs and Elizabeth Marquess of Bentonville; one sister, Genevie Stell of Owasso, Okla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Decatur with Dr. John Terry and the Rev. David Graham officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.

BELLA VISTA — Genevieve Bredehoeft, 78, of Bella Vista died Jan. 30, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville. She was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Decatur to Dewey and Clara Tibbs Box. She spent most of her life in Decatur, where she was bookkeeper for the family business and worked for Kiddy Kottage Day Care Center. She moved to Bella Vista 10 years ago and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur. She married D.K. Bredehoeft, in 1947. She was preceded in death by one grandson, David Marquess.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Jean Rush and husband Bobby of Decatur and Judy Marquess and husband Steve of Bentonville; three granddaughters, Caroline Kruger of Decatur, Rachel Rush of Fayetteville and Stephanie Marquess of Bentonville; one great-grandson, Chase Kruger of Decatur, one sister, Annabelle Osborne of Springfield, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Decatur with Dr. John Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Benton County Sunshine School, 2309 Moberly Lane, Bentonville, 72712.
