The Grove Sun last week told of the death of W. E. Higgins at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Pat Evans of Grove, at the age of 83 years. He was an ex-Confederate veteran, and was born in Benton county, near Lowell, December 28, 1837. He was buried at the Stanley cemetery, four miles east of Lowell.
