DECATUR — Dick Patton, 65, of Decatur died May 2, 2000, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born March 26, 1935, in Decatur to Charles and Pearl Green Patton.

He was a life resident of Decatur and had been employed by Peterson Farms as a night superintendent since April 28, 1959.

He was a military police officer in the Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He enjoyed car racing.

Survivors include two sons, James R. Patton of Gravette and Jack R. Patton of Maysville; four daughters, Sue Carnahan of Maysville, Brenda Smith of Gentry, Betty Alexander of Gravette and Carol Thompson of Decatur; three brothers, Charles Patton and Steve Patton, both of Decatur, and Bob Patton of Gravette; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Decatur with Raymond Scott officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Gravette.
