Thelma Arnold, daughter of the late Robert Henry and Rose Anna Stoner Berry, was born August 13, 1906, at Calico Rock. She departed this life July 28, at her home in Salem at the age of 75 years, 11 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage with Griffin Arnold on June 13, 1926, at Chestman, Arkansas. To this union six children were born.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Griffin Arnold of the home; two sons, Carl B. Arnold of Salem and Jack Arnold of Mt. Home; two daughters Mrs. Bobby May of Mt. Home and Mrs. Helen Fitzpatrick of Oxford; one sister Mrs. Ruby Stevens of Calico Rock; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant daugher; one son, Glenn Berry, one sister, three brothers and four grandchildren.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 30, at the Galatia Methodist Church with Rev. Neil Hudson officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of the Leland Carther Funeral Home of Salem.
