Who Died Unexpectedly On Sunday Morning

Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie Duke Curtner, 63, were held at Kernodle Funeral Home today at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Oscar J. Evanson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, and the Rev. Ray Woodell, pastor of the Wynne Baptist Church, officiating. She was buried at Cogbill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Warren Chowning, Robert Chowning, Richard Ellis, David Hall, Bob Turner, Paul Barron, Carthel Thielke, and Coburn Howell.
Mrs. Curtner, who had not previously been ill, died unexpectedly Sunday morning about 8:30. She had gotten up to prepare breakfast when she suddenly became deathly sick. A doctor was called but could not revive her and death occurred within half an hour after her first attack.
Mrs. Curtner was born in Harrisburg and married A.B. Curtner in 1908, coming to Wynne shortly after his death 25 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Musette Misner; two sons, Jennings B. Curtner, a student at Arkansas State College at Jonesboro, and Leroy Curtner; two grandchildren, Glen Frances Misner and Tommie Lee Curtner, all of Wynne; two brothers, J.T. Duke of North Little Rock, and J.A. Duke of Thayer, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs. J.B. Young of Germantown, Tenn., and Miss Dicie Duke of Wynne.
