Fay Mildred Walling
WALNUT RIDGE -- Fay Mildred Walling, 85, of Walnut Ridge died Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born in Portia, she had lived in the Coffman community most of her life before moving to Walnut Ridge four years ago. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
Survivors include her husband, Henry O. Walling of the home; one daughter, Lucreta Walling Phillips of Walnut Ridge; one son, Benny L. Walling of Conway; six sisters, Clara Mae Pegues of Tupelo, Miss., Mary Graddy of Walnut Ridge, Joyce Lees of Clayton, N.Y., Carolyn Patterson of Benton, Albertine Turley of Watsonville, Calif., and Ruth Tipton of Cabot; two grandchildren, Julie Hilton of Dittmer, Mo., and Jeffrey Phillips of Keesler Air Force Base, Miss.; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kent and Mabel Benn, two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at House-Gregg Funeral Home, with Bob Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
