Joseph Gregory Stellmon, 51, lifelong resident of Decatur and sales manager of Peterson Industries until his retirement in 1979, died Oct. 29 at his home following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 3, at the 1st Baptist Church in Decatur where he was a member. Burial was in the Decatur cemetery with graveside services in charge of the Gentry Masonic Lodge in which he was a member.
Rev. Terry Eaton and Rev. Al Maines conducted the funeral service.
Mr. Stellmon was born Jan. 19, 1935 in Decatur, the son of Gladys Irene Willert Spellmon and William Spellmon.
A memorial fund to the Arkansas Federation for the Blind has been set up at the Decatur State Bank for those caring to make such contributions.
Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs was in charge of the funeral.
