ROBB, Cecil Chester - Cecil Chester Robb, son of Mr. and Mrs. B.M. Robb, was born March 25, 1907 near Clarence in Macon county, Missouri. When two years of age he came with his parents to Decatur. The first of his school years were spent in the Cottage Grove school then he was transferred to Decatur where he graduated from high school in 1926. The next year he remained at home but in September 1927 he entered the Arkansas Polytechnic College at Russellville. In March he was forced to come home because of illness. Cecil was converted at the age of 14 in a service held by Rev. W.H. Gayer and joined the Methodist church where he remained a member until the time of his death, June 4, 1928. He was a good boy, well loved, and was a faithful Christian. At the time of his going away to school he was president of the Decatur Epworth League. He leaves his parents, three sisters, two brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The Misses Roxanna and Ruth Robb are his two older sisters. The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church by Rev. Fred Fleer of Decatur and Rev. John Womack of Rogers. Interment was made in the Decatur cemetery.
