"BOB” RILEY OF DECATUR BURIED SUNDAY
J.R. (Bob) Riley died in Decatur last Friday morning after an illness of several months. He was 44 years of age.
Funeral services were held at the home of his brother, John Riley, Sunday afternoon. The attendance at the service was large. Rev. John Scoggins and Rev. T.F. Jones conducted the services. Burial was made in the Decatur cemetery.
Mr. Riley was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clay Riley and was born on the old home place northwest of Decatur, where the greater part of his life was spent. Of late years he had lived elsewhere. He became ill last fall and returned home.
Besides his widow Mrs. Blanche Riley, he is survived by his mother, two brothers, John and Dave Riley, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Gordon and Mrs. Dee Wilmoth, his aged grandmother Mrs. Box, all of Decatur and other relatives.
Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Earl Hoffman of Kansas City, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Vincent and Ed Riley of Picher, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. homer Miller of Joplin and Mr. and Mrs. Edsel of Neosho.
