Services for 30-year-old Mary Carrol Brown of Mt. Pleasant will be at 2PM today at Galatia Community Church south of Norfork with Brother Donnie Speak officiating. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery.
A native of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Brown died Monday (Nov 27, 1989) from injuries sustained in a car accident near Sage (Izard County).
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Brown of the home; one son Terry Ashley Brown and one daughter, Sherry Marie Brown both of the home; her parents, Joseph Otto and Anna May Cooley of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Leroy Coolery of Sage and Larry Cooley of Mt. Pleasant; eight sisters, Joann Brasher of Batesville, Geraldine Hold of Batesville, Agnes Imgran of Bethesda, Linda Copeland of Las Vegas, NV; Pat Roach of Batesville, Mary Weaver of Newark, Terry Rudd of Newark and Lisa Cooley of Mt. Pleasant; her grandmother Effie Brooks of Sidney.
Mrs. Brown was born Dec 12, 1958. She was employed as a factory worker at Color Tile in Melbourne.
Arrangements are by Howard Funeral Home at Melbourne.
