WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. - Thomas Raymond Janes, 68, of West Siloam Springs died April 10, 2007, at Quail Ridge Ridge Living Center. He was born May 1, 1938, in Ventura, Calif., to Johnny and Geneva Hammons Janes. He was an electrical lineman and had worked for Dawn Hill Country Club as groundskeeper. He was an Air Force veteran who enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dianne Janes and son, Thomas Raymond Janes Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Voyles of Decatur, Theresa Allison of Stilwell, Okla., and Kimberly Davis of Decatur; two sons, Johnnie Janes of Decatur and Jackie Janes of Gravette; two sisters, Eva Chenoweth and Geraldine Jones, both of Siloam Springs; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Decatur Assembly of God with the Rev. Kirk Anderson officiating.
