Bennie Rorie, 64, of Mt Home passed away Tuesday, Dec 4, 2007, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Mr. Rorie was born to Elvin and Willameen (Williams) Rorie on May 7, 1943 in Marshall. He married the former Betty Crawford on Aug 19, 1967, in Clinton. Bennie worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Norfork Church of Christ. Bennie loved to hunt and fish, especially with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Betty; one son, Brady Rorie of Marshall; two daughters, Shawna Rosson and husband David Jr. of Mt. Home and Angie Howell and husband William of Plummerville; six grand children; two sisters, Donnia Leonard of Marianna; and Betty Sue Ragland of Harrison; one brother, Bill House of Harrison; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Ray House.
Visitation will be noon-9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8PM. Funeral services will be 2PM Friday at Norfork Church of Christ with Bro. Adam Evans officiating and burial will follow in Galatia Cemetery.
