From Lowell-- Mrs. Ellen Hathaway attended the funeral of Mrs. Mary Barr at Fayetteville Tuesday. Lowell residents were grieved to hear of the sudden death of Grandma Barr at the home of her son, Frank Barr, in Fayetteville Monday. She was on her way here to spend the summer with her daughter, Mrs. L.P. Davis. Grandma Barr was 93 years old and the mother of Mrs. L.P. Davis and J. H. Barr of this place. She visited here often and made many friends with her sweet smile and loving disposition. To know her was to love her and her many friends were looking forward with great pleasure to her visit. We extend heartfelt sympathy to the family in their hour of sadness.
