Noel Allison Sharable of Calico Rock, son of the late James Milton Sharble and Mary Crabtree Sharable, was born Junuary 18, 1909, in Gepp. He died May 16, 1996, at the Medical Center of Calico Rock. He was 87.
Mr. Shrable was united in marriage to Stella E. Kirby on Easter Sunday 1946, in Wild Cherry. To this union one son was born. He spent his working years as a farmer and he was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Harold of Calico Rock; one step son, Charles Kirby of Calico Rock; one brother, Neal Shrable of Gepp; on half sister, Ruby Purdue; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and six sisters.
Funeral services were held May 19, 1996, at the Galatai Christian Fellowship Church with Brother Bill Brewer officiating.
Interment was at the Galatia Cemetery in Old Joe under the direction of Cox-Estes Funeral Home in Salem.
Pallbearers were Bobby Sutterfield, Joe Washington, Steve Hicks, Jerry Funk, George Washington, and Ralph Teague.
