Son of James Thomas & Betty Oral Langston Lackey.

Darrell Gene Lackey of Arkana died Wednesday (Feb 17, 1993) at Mt. Home. He was 64.
Services will be at 2PM Saturday at the Old Galatia Church with Bro. Don Pfalser officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8PM. burial will be at Galatia Cemetery.
An area native, Mr. Lackey was born at Norfork July 18, 1928, a son of the late James Thomas and Betty Oral Lackey. He was a member of the Old Galatia Church and the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, James Thomas Lackey and Darrell Gene Lackey, Jr. both of Mt. Home; two daughters, Julie Donohue of Flordia and Karen Reeves of Salem; two brothers, Donald Perry Lackey of Jordan and Coleman Lynn Lackey of Kansas City, MO; a sister, Bonnie Felton of Amarillo, TX; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Roy Beard, Curtis Stewart, Jackie Hughes, Johnny Hamby, Louie Qualls and Harvey Beard.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Melton and Lynn Rand.
