A funeral for James Ellis of Mt. Home will be 10AM Friday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Macil Jefferson officiating. Visitation will be 5-8PM today. Mr. Ellis died Monday, April 4, 2004, at Chattanooga, TN. He was 39.
Mr. Ellis was born July 21, 1965, at Vicksburg, MS, to Robert and Henrietta Smith Ellis, Jr. He was a carpenter and lived in Vicksburg, MS, prior to moving to Mt. Home in 1980. He was a 1984 Mt. Home High School graduate and a member of Enon Bapist Chruch in Union, MS.
He is survived by his parents, Carl and Henrietta Cravens of Mt. Home and two brothers, Wayne (Donna) Ellis of Norfork and Tommy (Mary) Ellis of Little Rock, MS. He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Tiffany Lee Ellis.
Burial will be a Galatia Cemetery with Jesse McGowan, Mark McGowan, Jason Acklin, Frankie Cox, Wayne Ellis and Tommy Ellis as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Bridges Creek Missionary Baptist Church-For Missions- 3195 Hwy 5 S., Mt. Home, AR 72653.
