Earl Bookout, 56, 1215 South Crutcher, was dead on arrival at Springdale Memorial Hospital May 26. He as born Mar. 29, 1916 at Johnson the son of James and Annabel Guess Bookout, an employee of Tyson Hatchery and a member of the Caudle Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zinia Bullard Bookout of the home; one daughter, Mrs. David (Carol Ann) Burditt of Springdale; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lindsey (Wilma) Kruth of Norfolk, Va.; two brothers, Loyd and Ralph Bookout of Springdale; one sister, Miss Pearl Bookout of Springdale; one half-sister, Mrs. Ada Hoos of Warner, Okla; one half-brother, A.L. Bookout of Warner, Okla., and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Sisco chapel with Rev. Jack Bettis officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.

Zinia M. Bookout, 67, of Hamilton, Miss., formerly of Springdale, died June 30, 1992, in Hamilton. She was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Wister, Okla., the daughter of Richard M. and Mildred O. Hill Bullard. She retired in 1973 from Tyson Foods of Springdale. She was a member of Caudle Avenue Baptist Church in Springdale. She was the widow of Earl Bookout, who died in 1972.

Survivors include her mother, Mildred Bullard of Lincoln; two daughters, Carol Burditt of Hamilton and Wilma Knuth of Mount Vernon, Wash.; two sisters, Dolly Myers of Springdale and Helen Nicolau of Fall River, Mass.; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
